The distinction between true skill acquisition and 'vicarious competence' is such a brilliant framework; what if this lack of real-world feedback in men's self-assessment extends beyond the bedroom, informing other areas where they might struggle to accept genuine constructive criticism? It's realy like a neural network trained on poor or incomplete data, confidently outputting inaccurate predictions, and the implications for genuine connection and relationships are just devastatingly clear.
